A sunlike spectrum of the white light artificial source is developed for general purpose illumination by utilizing a blue laser diode (LD) (λ=447 nm, Δλ = 5 nm, and optical power (Popt.) = 600mW) and glass sheets coated using a screen-printing technique with the Ce: YAG (yellow), red and green phosphor. These phosphor-coated sheets behave as free-standing diffuser white light sources with compatible color coordinates. The experimental results are presented in form of monitoring of photoluminance spectral, and color parameters measurements.
